The dingy dock here is a haven for the manatee, they come up in the little harbor and people give them fresh water and they eat the grass off the walls and the docks.
Thanksgiving day we went to Island Fish Company for Thanksgiving dinner, it is over the bridge so we took a taxi there, the food was very good. When we got back there was a big manatee in the harbor and she wanted some water, so Angie turned on the water hose and she loved it. She rolled up in the hose and held on for dear life. Very special!
Yesterday we did not leave the boat because the float switch on the grey water pump was not working and water was getting in the bilge, so Pierre had to change it out and whatever you do on a boat, it takes all day!
Anyway, I was ready to get off the boat today and I had a few errands to run. When we got to the dingy dock there were 4 manatee floating around, they were so cute and came in 4 sizes!
