We are at dock here in Fort Pierce, Fl. at Harbortown Marina. It is a very nice Marina and of course we are sitting in the mud!! We went to Hertz and rented a car, it felt so funny to be in a car again but it feels good to know we can go anywhere we want without walking! There are so many people and boats here at this Marina, there are ten docks, each dock is 500 or 600ft long with 25 boats on each side, you so the math!
This afternoon a trawler came in and docked right across from us and the name on the boat is Adagio, we went over to talk to them and they too are from Panama City, Wow...what are the odds?
Last night we set out the TV antenna to see if we could pick up some channels, Yah...we are getting 21 channels...it is so strange to be watching TV again...getting the weather is nice. When you get on a boat and off land a lot of things change with your life, the obvious....of course...but it's the little things when you live in a a house you do not worry about the weather everyday, when you are on a boat it is a everyday concern!
At this marina there is are two boatyard nearby, so I feel like I have come home!
If you walk out of this marina and got to the road and turn left you cross over US1 highway, and across the that highway is a Publix and a West Marina! We are going to take the hot water heater back to this West Marine and this time we are going to get our money back....not another one!
