Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone was the first national park in the U.S. and it is also considered to be the first national park in the world, it has over over 3 thousand squares miles including lakes, canyons, rivers, and mountain ranges.
We stayed at the west entrance gate and visited the park every day. It was so totally awesome...we saw buffalo, elk, moose, foxes, coyotes and so much more. The scenery was mind blowing. So much diversity. Yellowstone is known for its many geothermal features, especially Old Faithful geyser, this is one of the Parks most familiar features. We sat in front of “Old Faithful” till he blew..it was excellent
There are four entrances into the park, The North Gate, The West Gate, The East Gate and The South Gate.
We drove to each entrance and visited the small towns. When we were at the North Gate an Elk wandered into the center of town and lay down right in the park in the middle of the town, they called in a Park Ranger and she watched over him so no visitors would mess with him, I thought this was super

One day we drove out to the South Gate this is where Yellowstone lake is… it is one of the largest high elevation lakes in America and it is located over the Yellowstone Caldera, this is the largest super volcano on the continent! There were plenty of smokin vents and we had to walk very carefully, but I was able to put my feet in the lake!
The east entrance... this is considered the flat lands and the bison really like this area, there were herds as far as the eyes could see, they walk up and down the street and over the bridge. They are so big and stinky!!
After a few days of driving around the park we took a side trip to Rexburg ID to visit Yellowstone Bear World..this is a drive-thru wildlife park, We saw Elk, Bison, White-tail Deer,
Mule Deer, Rocky Mountain Goats, Moose, of course Black Bear and some Grizzly Bear.
Navi got to see his first coyote, there was one that lived in the woods behind the RV Park we were staying at and when Pierrre would walk him, the coyote would come out and look at them..Navi was not a fan!! He blew up like a toad and his tail got so big!
I can not get my pictures to load anymore and I am so far behind myself... I am going to try, in my next blog to recap...quickly... I promise...and get caught up!
