Montana is beautiful!
We stopped in Lincoln Montana for a few days and while we were there we had to go to Blackfoot Pathways: Sculpture in the Wild, this park brings strikingly beautiful large scale art pieces to this swath of woods, Kevin O’Dwyer, the sculpture park’s co-founder and curator, has worked hard with local community members as well as artists from around the country to bring in this collection of huge, site-specific sculptures. Sculptors have been invited to create works of art using only natural and industrial materials that are associated with the community’s cultural and economic traditions. These sculptures celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the Blackfoot Valley.
It was totally worth the trip!
On to Helena Montana where I tried to do some Gold Panning, but I came up empty handed..we did some hiking around the area and just enjoyed the time we spent there!
