Cool Change

We will be saying goodbye  to Boot Key Harbour this weekend. The weather looks like it is going to coperate and send us to Cay Sal..We plan to have a few days there, fishing, snorkeling, diving and exploring, a grind for sure! After the cool (did I say cool?):/...I mean COLD weather the Harbour had these last few days, the warm waters of the Caribbean will be a welcome change!
We have met a load of wonderful peeps here, Lou and Annie on "Annie's Song" they have a chocolate lab and they call him brown dog, he is very laid back and he loves tennis balls, he can sniff them out where ever they land! Lou..whenever I run across "orange soda" I will think of you! A couple from Canada, the Shipps, their boats name? "Shipmates" cute huh? They sure are glad to be here right now, and not in Canada! Really to many too count, but everyone here is very nice and helpful! The marina is very nice and everything is clean and easy to use. If you like the mooring life, this place is for you...they have a camaraderie and a pioneer-like interdependence among the cruisers rattling around here!
There were quite a few characters living in Boot Key, one man, he kinda had the look of crocodile Dundee, complete with the leather arm bands and dangly things hanging from him, the only difference is he is blond and never and I mean never, did we see him with a shirt on. Angie and I called him Neptune. ( his real name was Bob) another one was a similar man, he never wore a shirt either. but he was younger than Neptune. I meet his wife/girlfriend in the laundry one day(very nice lady). anyway, Angie and I called him Adonis. We never did get his name..Only a few times did we see Adonis with a shirt. Now here is the funny thing, when we were leaving Marathon headed out the channel, Adonis and his wife/girlfriend passed us in a small boat headed under the bridge..of course he did not have a shirt on....just thought it was funny that he was the last thing we should see when leaving Marathon!
Hopefully I will be able to find a carrier pigeon in Cay Sal!
Hugs and kisses peeps, I will update when I can!;)
